Make the Philippines an American Battle Monument
From 1946 to 1950 the US gave the Roxas and Quirino administrations $2 billion dollars for the reconstruction of the Manila and its agricultural sector. A fact finding team from Washington later reported that not a single penny went to the reconstruction or the farming community but it could not be recovered. It was presumed to have been pocketed by the oligarch-traitors and their cronies.
When Marcos left the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) was ready for operation. Cory influenced by the Lopezes decided to shelve the project costing the Philippines about $2 billion and the power crisis of 1990’s.
Then Cory gave Meralco back to the Lopezes for free. The Marcos regime paid the Lopezes for the utilities. This is why Kris Aquino must always have a show.
The same modus operandi was done to PNOC-EDC the government owned geothermal power corporation. That’s where my late wife worked for over 15 years.

By shelving BNPP, the Philippines had to rely on generators. Aboitiz had the exclusive contract to import generators while Wigberto Tanada was the Custom Commissioner. Later Bobby Tanada as blue ribbon chair would refuse to finish the senate investigation of the Plaza Miranda bombing knowing that Ninoy Aquino was behind the bombing of his own party.

PAUL A. Aquino, president of Energy Development Corporation (EDC) since 2004, oversaw the company’s successful privatization. his included EDC’s initial public ofering in December 2006 and the purchase of First Gen Corporation of a controlling stake in November 2007.
A professional manager and former stockbroker appointed by government, Aquino reduced EDC’s manpower count from 4,000 to 2,700 and instituted changes to prepare the company for a smooth turnover to private hands.

The first step: Declare A Revolutionary Government
On March 25, 1986, a month after taking power through “People Power”, Cory Aquino abolished the legislative branch of the Philippine government and established a revolutionary government. Washington DC said nothing.

(Salvador Laurel was the son of Jose P. Laurel the president of the Japanese-sponsored government during the Japanese occupation in World War II.)

Imagine in 1986 China with over 900 million people was able to get out of the developing country status! By Nov. 2011 there were 271 $billionaires and 300,000 millionaires in China. The Philippines remained the poorest country in Asia.
Majority of the people in the Philippines and even in the U.S.A. are controlled by those who control the past i.e. journalists, historians and corporate media. I firmly believe George Orwell saw what was happening in the Philippines in the 1930’s and 1940’s and that it will soon happen to the U.S.A. as it is in fact happening today.
The majority of Americans are told only what the media wants them to know. How else could producer, sex predator Harvey Weinstein keep their modus operandi secret without the cooperation of the media?
Another form of deception that came from George Orwell’s book Nineteen Eighty-Four is the term “doublespeak“.
Although the term is not used in the book, it is a close relative of two of the book’s central concepts, “doublethink” and “Newspeak“. Another variant, “doubletalk“, also referring to deliberately ambiguous speech, did exist at the time Orwell wrote his book, but the usage of “doublespeak” as well as of “doubletalk” in the sense emphasizing ambiguity clearly postdates the publication of “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”
Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms (e.g. “downsizing” for layoffs, “servicing the target” for bombing[1]), in which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable.
