Wed. Feb. 14, 2024 – It’s Valentine’s Day and also it’s Ash Wednesday. And four (4) days ago Feb. 10, 2024 was the Lunar New Year. It’s the Year of the Dragon (Feb.10, 2024 to Jan.28, 2025). Ash Wednesday is observed by many, if not most of the Western Christian Churches including Catholics, Protestants, Anglicans, Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians and even the Mennonites. In this day of prayer and fasting, the various Christian denominations are all in agreement. There’s another concept that all Christian religions seems to all agree not to teach or even discuss – reincarnation. Although the Bible has many references to the reincarnation, Christians do not seem to believe in reincarnation.

 A direct reference to reincarnation is in John 8:39-41 / 48-59

39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.
“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would[c] do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”
“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”
57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”
58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

If we are expected to live the perfect life and go to heaven or be reunited with God in just one lifetime, then we don’t have a loving and forgiving God. In one article Edgar Cayce said we have to be reincarnated at least 30 times before living that perfect life.

In state board and bar exams, a person is given up to three (3) chances to pass the board or bar exam. I would think that for spiritual salvation three takes would not be enough for the majority of souls.

Sat. Feb. 10, 2024 – Brittany, there are three (3) RV gigs here and the first one involves the crash of a military helicopter that killed 5 Marines. This is another tragic reminder what the men and women who serve are willing to give up their very lives to keep the American way of life – our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Let us not take those rights for granted, especially the pursuit of happiness. Feb. 3, 2024 – As part of my research, I found out about Edgar Cayce, his readings and philosophy in 2002 after my late wife Elena came back from a trip in New Jersey to visit some of her high school classmates and friend. When do I feel closest to God?^

^This has got to be it. September 13, 2014 “It was an extraordinary experience. The closest to heaven I have ever been. Quite similar to what this veteran Brian Hoyland went through, a near death experience. Brian claims to have gone to heaven, spoke with Jesus Christ and came back to earth.

In my case it was just the earlier stages of the trip. It’s the closest to heaven, probably God, that I have ever been and I really wish everyone would experience what I did.
