German Remote Viewers

Oct. 31, 2022

On May 3, 2022 Paul Smith was in Jena, Germany for the release of the German translation of his book “The Essential Guide to Remote Viewing: The Secret Military Remote Perception” per the Facebook post by Andreas Muller . See:

Then on Wed June 29, 2022 at 2:00pm Jana Roge announced on Facebook that four students recently completed the CRV Basic Course.

Above, Jana Roge referred to the German students whom Paul H. Smith taught CRV Basic Course not as Remote Viewers but as “Magicians”.

First a little background on Paul H. Smith, one of the first U.S. military personnel to train as Remote Viewers or Psychic Spy. He later was responsible for creating the Remote Viewing Manual for the Defense Intelligence Agency while Tom McNear was in charge for the Remote Viewing Manual for the CIA.

But the first U.S. military remote viewer was Mel Riley.

Mel Riley – As a youth he found himself experiencing visions of being part of a Native American village in an earlier time. During his visions, he was given “wisdom” by his Native American brothers and sisters. The visions were so vivid that Mel describes them as bi-locational events. These ethereal experiences served as an early preparation for his future life as a remote viewer. [1] Mel is the only non-Native American heritage person to be given the honor of being accepted as a Medicine Man of the Native American people.

He has been given his own medicine pouch to be used in times of need. [2] Mel went on to become well versed on Native American art and traditions and has often been consulted for his insight and knowledge on those topics. He was himself also a master of Native American beadwork and leathercraft, often working with deer and buffalo hides he had cured and tanned himself. [1]

Top right: former Director Dale Graff during the Zoom meeting hosted by Daz Smith (top left) held on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. Yours truly at the bottom left.

I found out in this meeting that Dale Graff does not like the term “Remote Influencing” a term I first heard from Lyn Buchanan. Remote Influencing is when the Viewer sees what will happen in the future and influence that future event for a more favorable outcome.

Below is Lyn Buchanan’s post on Remote Viewing Group Facebook page on Mel Riley’s passing on April 25, 2020

I’m very sad to report that my good friend, Mel Riley has passed away. I talked to him a few weeks ago and he told me that he was doing fine, feeling fine, and having no problems. This episode came this week. I talked to Edith, his wife, today, and she is coping. She said that once they took him into intensive care, there was no suffering and he passed quickly. He died of lung cancer. Edith said that because of the pandemic restrictions a funeral will not be allowed. The Indian tribe is planning a ceremony for him this evening on the reservation, but any chance for a memorial service will have to wait until this pandemic is over. Mel has been a very good and trusted friend for all these years, one who took me in and mentored me in the military unit, and became a life-long friend. I’m going to miss him very much.

Just a few of the pictures of him – portrait, the other two are at the very informal retirements ceremony we had for him at the unit – the cane is one I made for his retirement years , made of a special vine wood that grew on my property and into which I had carved runes that were appropriate for life and a large, black moonstone topping the handle. The robe was one of mine, and the wizards hat was one that we had in the unit for some reason I never learned about. Many later pictures of his and Edith’s visits, but these show Mel as I think he would like to be seen. As down-to-earth a real guy’s guy as you’d ever want to meet. I’ll miss him very much.

Sadly, at 6:06 AM, April 25, 2020, Mel passed away from complications of lung cancer in the hospital near their home. Despite the ongoing  COVID 19 restrictions Edith, who has always loved and supported him, was able to be by his side.
