Civil Unrest 2020: The Economic and Political Damage

June 3, 2020 – The City of Minneapolis and other cities with law enforcement AND community discipline issues, could have, should have followed the Federal Oversight of the L.A.P.D. in Nov. 2000. Mayor Garcetti should have looked at his own city’s history instead of GRANDSTANDING and PERFORMING FOR THE MEDIA just like what he did at the height of the COVID19 Pandemic. I hope the American voters will see through these politicians facade.

It now appears that:

Mayor Frey of Minneapolis, MN, Mayor Garcetti of Los Angeles, CA and other city mayors could have initiated and followed the same arrangement the City of Los Angeles, CA entered into with the Department of Justice on Nov. 3, 2000.

There were other options available to city governments and politicians in this situation in addition to allowing protests and marches. Shop owners, businesses, individuals who suffered losses through looting, arson, vandalism and acts of violence SHOULD SUE THEIR RESPECTIVE CITY GOVERNMENTS FOR INCOMPETENCE AND NEGLIGENCE.

The general public, Millennials are  not being told the complete picture by Mainstream Media whose reason for existence was “the people have the right to know.”

Something must be done with the Fourth Estate. The R.I.C.O. Act might be applicable here because these things seem to happen in a Presidential Election year (1992, 2000 and now 2020).
