For You,
A friend of mine told how long ago he met and fell for someone. But she came in his life a bit too late. He was sure he wouldn’t live to see the end of that year. It so happen he was looking for a student who could learn as much as he could impart.
She wanted to learn and turned out she was an amazingly bright student. Eager to learn she helped, absorbed, retained, fed back info well and most of all she applied the lessons well. It was nothing short of a miracle.
One of the most important instruction he told her was: “Will it. And it will be so.” I haven’t seen my friend since but he was wrong. He didn’t die that year. He’s still around.
If ever I have a chance I’d love to ask her: “Did you hope that he not die.” Well did you?
