Today mark’s the 72nd anniversary of the Fall of Bataan and the start of the infamous Bataan Death March where over 10,000 U.S. and Filipino soldiers died. True to form, Aquino III led the celebration of this Philippine National Holiday. It should be pointed out that the Philippines has NEVER held a single Liberation Day Parade or Celebration. No AIRPORT, building, park, bridge, camp, barracks, open field, avenue, boulevard, street or even an alley has ever been named or dedicated after the Great Liberator Gen. Douglas MacArthur (1880 – 1964). From 1946 to 1949 $2 billion in U.S. taxpayers money intended for the reconstruction of post WWII Philippines were stolen by oligarch-traitors whose grandchildren are now in power in the Philippines. Who would imagine with all the death and destruction brought by the war (WWII) and a decimated agricultural sector, the oligarch-traitors would take advantage of the situation and enrich themselves instead? Fast forward to October 2011: Despite 67 years of mismanaged economy, the Word Bank provided $2 billion funding to the illegitimate oligarch-supported government of Aquino III, the grandson of an oligarch-traitor. What is wrong with Washington DC? (Actually the World Bank loaned Aquino III $3.7 BILLION in Oct. 2011)

When we have a Democrat in the White House, American foreign policy is not at its best. Unfortunately, globalization is upon us and it is imperative that the U.S. president must be familiar with international relations and our own history. A case in point is the U.S. policy in Ukraine and Crimea on one hand and the Philippines on the other. While the U.S. vigorously objected to the result of the referendum in Crimea citing Putin’s meddling, in the May 2010 Philippine presidential election, Pres. Obama immediately congratulated Aquino III a third generation oligarch traitor who was declared the winner when out of the 92 million population of the Philippines, there were 256 million registered voters. Obama granted Aquino III a state visit in September 2010, allowed the World Bank to commit $2 billion in development funds in October 2011, and a standby line of credit for disaster relief in December 2011. (Actually the World Bank gave $3.7 billion loan.) “President Barack Obama congratulated Aquino during a telephone conversation, praising the country’s first automated elections on May 10 as a ‘positive testament to the strength and vitality of democracy’ in the former US commonwealth. Both ‘looked forward to bringing our cooperation to a new level and to meeting at a mutually convenient time,’ the White House said.” See: US, China welcome Aquino’s victory in Philippines By Jim Gomez–The Associated Press, June 10, 2010. I’ve been enjoying recent WAIS discussions, especially about the presidential election in November. Needless to say, I cannot support Obama, who ignored my e-mail request for Native American status for the Philippines, dated November 5, 2008 and later posted on WAIS on Dec. 25, 2010. Obama through the World Bank abandoned and betrayed the Philippines, including the veterans who are buried in that forgotten US territory.
